Client Services
Alarms are installed and programmed according to your requirements. Generally speaking, the activities received within the Monitoring Station are:
• Once weekly (minimum recommended) self-generated test reports from your Control Panel.
• Intruder alarm activations.
• System alarm activations (i.e., power failures, battery failures, programme changes, code attempts, communication failures etc).
• Bypass or Trouble events on detectors failing to seal upon your departure.
• Optional Open/Close events (suitable for commercial sites) or alternatively Disarm Cancel (suitable for residential sites).

Additional Services
Commercial businesses with regular hours have an option of our Monitoring Station staff supervising the times your staff come and go from your place of business.
This ensures that your alarm system is switched on by your nominated time or any entries outside these times are challenged with the person on site.
Scheduled Reports are a documentation of all activities received from your alarm and any action taken by our Monitoring Station staff.
‘Scheduled (or Activity) Reports’ can be arranged on a weekly or monthly basis. This allows for management to review alarm activity via e-mail.
Prices for these additional services are available upon application.

Connecting your Existing Alarm
Always check with your security provider to ensure you have at the very least an inbuilt ‘high speed dialler.’ This will enable your existing alarm if connected to a phone line (with appropriate filtering if needed) to connect to the Monitoring Station.
An upgrade to some or all parts of your existing system to may be required to bring it up to speed & to ensure reporting through to the Monitoring Station.
Once connected, your security provider confirms your details and ‘Commission’ them with the Monitoring Station staff. These details will include your Name, Address, Contact Numbers, Zone Descriptions and your requested response details.
Each Client, residential & commercial can have the instructions on the monitoring of their alarm personally tailored according to their requirements.

Back to base options include but are not limited to,
Dialler, GSM, GPRS & Ip monitoring.

Dialler monitoring reports signals through on your normal/pstn telephone line. When your alarm communicates its information to the Monitoring Station it will pick up your telephone line and communicate the relevant information. When the alarm sends information to the monitoring station a call charge is incurred. In the event of the telephone lines being cut or down due to any phone line issues the Monitoring Station will not receive any signals until the phone line is restored.

The GPRS System has multiple reporting paths. The primary path of is through the data side of the mobile network fed through live stream. No call costs are associated with the alarms communicating with the Monitoring Station. In the event of loss of communications the secondary path of PSTN will continue with the security monitoring of your home or business.

GSM’s operate via the digital mobile telephone network. Coverage depends on your provider, usually most of metropolitan Melbourne & Australia where a mobile telephone can operate. The alarm's primary communication path can be either via your normal telephone line or by G S M with the alarm system reverting to the other upon failure of the primary path, depending on model fitted. The alarm system is also programmable to poll at a regular interval to test the line integrity.

With broadband internet becoming more common, IP Monitoring allows signals from the Alarm system to be captured and sent to the control room via the internet. This type of monitoring is starting to become popular

Vehicle tracking systems allow you to track your individual or fleet of vehicles, by logging on to our tracking website you can see the location and movement history. We also monitor personal hand held units which can activate an alarm in the control room should an emergency occur.

Medical Alarm monitoring is primarily for the elderly who live alone (or with a frail partner) which provides family and friends peace of mind for the continuing independence.
Medical Alarms usually consist of two devices, these being:

The Main Unit
The Main Unit plugs into your existing telephone line and normal electricity. It also has a battery back-up in the case of a local power failure. The Main Unit is has an emergency button which is accessible from the front and gives an audible sound when either the Main Unit or the emergency Pendant is activated

The Pendant/Watch
The lightweight wireless Medical Pendant, Watch or necklace is a water resistant emergency button which can be worn comfortably & discreetly. The Pendant is suitable for normal size houses. When the user activates the alarm button on the Pendant a signal is sent to the Main Unit which in turn sends a signal to the Monitoring Station staff.

Monitoring Station staff receiving your emergency signal will call your home to confirm that help is required.
If there is no answer or an emergency situation is ascertained, the staff will then telephone the pre-nominated "contacts". (Such as family, friends, neighbours or carers) to go to the users address and render assistance.
